WPEC Committees are governed by Article XI of the constitution. Committee members, for the most part, are regular members appointed by the president with the approval of the Executive Council, except where there are specific conditions as defined by the constitution. The committees have duties defined by the constitution and the Executive Council. [Committee Definitions]
The committee members are initially appointed, or reappointed, for a two year term soon after the annual convention when the Executive Council is elected. Members can volunteer and be appointed at anytime the committee is active and serve until the end of the commitees term.
