THIS CONVENTION DATE WAS CANCELLED. THE CONVENTION WILL BE HELD ON NOV. 15-16.
This is the date that was announced by the AFT-W president at the convention in October. It is not a special convention -- it will replace the 2014 convention which would normally have been held in October. AFT-W hasn't issued any more details yet.
See resolution #12 in the Convention Minutes. The word "special" was crossed out in the body of the resolution. Apparently special conventions have some different rules that the President didn't like so he amended the resolution.
